Marco Velez has been working in rehabilitation/health care for the past 7 years, with three years experience working full time as a physiotherapist. He completed his Masters of Physiotherapy at McMaster University, and also has a Kinesiology degree from the University of Victoria. He has worked with a wide range of patients, including the general population, individuals with vestibular and dizziness disorders, TMJ conditions, seniors, those with neurological conditions, mobility limitations, and athletes.

Treatment Style: Marco takes a passionate and hands-on approach to physiotherapy, often integrating manual therapy, soft-tissue and myofascial release, education, and individualized exercise programs to help patients on their rehabilitation journeys.

The “Why:” Through his clinical experience, Marco recognized that many individuals face barriers getting into traditional clinic settings—whether due to mobility limitations, busy schedules, or ongoing pain. This led him to create this home-based physiotherapy service, allowing him to deliver personalized, one-on-one care directly in patients’ own environments where they feel most comfortable and supported.

You might be surpised to know: Marco has lived and studied in various cities across Canada, but he has always found himself returning to beautiful Victoria, BC - which he proudly calls home. Outside of work, Marco can be found walking his 1 year-old puppy, strength training at the gym, playing soccer, or playing his Spanish guitar.
